ICYMI: Extra Life

Gamers of all levels and categories joined us November 2nd and the 9th to save and improve the lives of kids treated at Unite Regional, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

For the first time two local arcades ran promotions and even a Smash Bros. Tournament to raise funds for the kids. We are incredibly grateful for these small business owners and their dedication to improve our community through gaming. THANK YOU DEEP END AND MANIAC’S MANSION!

This past Saturday was the 9th annual game day for the Wichita Falls Gamers for Good. It started out small in a members home and has grown every year! This time the Gamers played at MacTeach Solutions who generously loaned the space. Games were played from all eras and systems for 24 hours. The Wichita Falls Adventurers’ Guild also teamed up with the Wichita Falls Gamers for Good for the first time.

This year, they raised just under $4,000 for CMN at United Regional. About a third of of the gamers played for 24 hours, and during that time they steamed on twitch or other social media platforms to keep their friends and family updated on their progress.

On behalf of the kids served at United Regional- thank you gamers! Thank you for supporting our mission for nine years.
