United Regional CMN Hosts 2018 Miss Texas Visit
Children’s Miracle Network at United Regional, Wichita Falls, TX – January 28 –As part of the Miss America partnership with Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals 2018 Miss Texas, Madison Fuller, was scheduled to visit with United Regional pediatric patients.
CMN at United Regional began over thirty years ago and has since raised close to $13 million through a variety of special events. In 2018, CMN at United Regional helped 20,000 kids reach milestones such as walk first steps, hear mom’s voice for the first time, ride a bicycle, and pick his or her dream college.
“This is the first time for a Miss Texas Scholarship Organization title holder to visit our hospital,” said Shelby Reese, Children’s Miracle Network Specialist. “We are thrilled for our Womens & Childrens staff to show off our facilities and share with Ms. Fuller how CMN and partnerships with organizations like Miss America create MIRACLES.”
Partnerships with organizations like Miss Texas help make miracles for children like the Gilbert twins. The twins were born early, but thanks to CMN they were able to stay in Wichita Falls.
Children’s Miracle Network at United Regional serves 10 counties: Archer, Baylor, Clay, Foard, Hardeman, Montague, Throckmorton, Wichita, Wilbarger, and Young.
